Throughout high school and college, Dr. Czapor always sought out opportunities to work with animals. Through pet-sitting, working on the university farm, and landing a job as a veterinary technician, she solidified and strengthened her love for this profession. Originally from Connecticut, she attended Mississippi State University for veterinary school. While in Mississippi, Dr. Czapor adopted her beloved cat, Apollo, who really thinks he is a dog. In her free time, Dr. Czapor loves to travel and is actively working on her goal of visiting all 50 states (33 down!). Her favorite place to visit has been Cape Cod, Massachusetts. She have gone on many veterinary-based trips abroad, and has really enjoyed being able combine her two favorite things – traveling and animals. Dr. Czapor feels that Vet school provided her with a wide variety of experiences, and she is excited to utilize everything she has learned to serve the south loop community! Dr. Czapor has special interests in surgery and ultrasonagraphy. One of the most unusual pets she has treated was a 50lb ball python, that was constipated!
